Hyaluronic Acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the body, and plays an essential role in maintaining skin elasticity, firmness and hydration. As a person ages, the levels of hyaluronic acid decrease, which will add to the appearance of subtle lines and wrinkles, as well as other signs of aging, such as sallow skin, and uneven tone. When the dermal fillers are injected, the hyaluronic acid ingredient bonds with water molecules, which plumps up the skin, filling wrinkles, to smooth out the skin, making it appear softer, younger and healthier.
Use Instructions
How do I use Belotero® Balance?
If using the fillers without lidocaine, a numbing cream or injectable anaesthetic is applied to the treatment area, and allowed to take effect. The filler is then inserted into the wrinkles using a small gauge needle, until the desired results are achieved. Afterwards you can massage the treatment area to ensure the filler is even and smooth.
When should I use this anti-aging treatment?
This dermal filler is best used for the correction of wrinkles and lines around the mouth.
What areas can I treat with Belotero® Balance?
This injectable filler can be used to fill and smooth moderate to severe lines and wrinkles. It is best used in the nasolabial folds, smokers and marionette lines.
How long does this dermal filler last?
Significant results are visible immediately following treatment. The results of Belotero® Balance fillers can last for nine months.
How long does the treatment take?
As with the vast majority of aesthetic fillers, treatment takes between 15 and 45 minutes, depending on the number of areas treated and the extent of the wrinkle correction required.
